This site, designed as an exchange platform & presentation space, is centered on download disposal of digital objects which explores the printed object/screen connection. This proposal is mainly a DIY (Do It Yoursel) invitation, for “home made” products, for self-production in general.

This site thus offers the possibility to produce at home a paperback or a poster, using available substrate material, i.e. worldwide standard formats A4 (21x29,7 cm), US Letter (21,59x27,94 cm) and their derivates, by printing previously downloaded PDF files. The quality imperative that we advocate, hitherto rarely encountered on internet, is conceivable thanks to the PDF format. This type of perfectly “stable
” file can be read with a Mac or a PC using the Acrobat Reader software, free of charge, without any possible corruption or reconfiguration of the initial format, which is not the case with other formats. Instructions for use will be found at the end of each PDF file optimized for the paper used in order to facilitate manufacturing. Formal variants proposed will notably concern the materials and colours of standard paper formats.

Other PDF files will concern solely screen display and new possibilities of reading and image sequencing. Short videos and animations will also be available.

Finally, certain of our productions constitute proposals for reaction techniques to our daily environment. This prompting of a high quality graphic response in the public domain involves, for instance, the dissemination of typographic models of monumental alphabets or of possible intervention plans and maps, i.e. provide the tools, the manuals for action with economy of means.
